On television, Peter Phelps is perhaps best known for his role of Peter Church on the series Stingers. Peter was a series regular on Fire, The Flying Doctors and Baywatch. His extensive guest TV credits include Police Rescue, Heartbreak High, A Country Practice, Rafferty’s Rules, and Water Rats. He also starred as Abo Henry in the chilling Blue Murder series for ABC TV, Les Darcy in the telemovie The Les Darcy Story, and Mick Webb in One Way Ticket. Peter also appeared opposite Judd Nelson, in the telemovie Blackwater Trail. He recently starred in the hugely successful series Underbelly: Tale Of Two Cities. He has won the AFI Award for best actor in a leading Role for GP (ABC TV), and the 2002 Silver Logie for Stingers. Peter’s feature films include Teesh & Trude, Zone 39, The Lighthorseman and Playing Beatie Bow, and has featured in Footy Legends, Ned Kelly, The Line and the critically acclaimed Lantana. Peter’s recent film roles include the Australian feature films The Square, Stone Bros and Caught Inside.
