The Existentialist Cowboy's Last Stand blitzed the international festival circuit, winning the Dendy Award for Best Short Film at the Sydney Film Festival, a ‘Silver Hugo’ in Chicago, the Provincial Café ‘production prize’ in Melbourne and an AFI nomination for the Open Craft Award. Four Minute Festival opened film festivals in Sydney, Edinburgh, Encontros, Wales and Munich. The Piano Bomb Detective's Last Case was also widely screened and sold internationally. Domesticated Animals was selected to screen at the "Cinema Des Antipodes" section of the 1999 Cannes Film Festival.

Adam has worked extensively as a TV commercial director and is a partner in well known production house, Flying Fish. This works has earned him awards in Cannes, London and Australia. He directed Susan’s Institute of Television for Fox Studios Australia which stars Gina Riley and over forty other Australian television celebrities, directed episodes for Channel Nine’s Situation Comedy Flat Chat and worked on Jeff Balsmeyers' feature film Danny Deckchair as the 2nd unit Director and directed a national theatre production of On the Lurk starring H.G. Nelson of Triple J and The Dream fame.

Caught Inside is Adam’s first full length feature and he is being described as the director to watch.
